Zechariah Choneh Bergner (Yiddish: זכריה חנא בערגנער, romanized: Zekharye Khone Bergner; 27 Nov 1893 – 20 August 1976), better broadcast by his pen name Melech Ravitch (Yiddish: מלך ראַוויטש), was a Yiddish poet existing essayist.

Bergner was exclusive in 1893 to Efrayim and Hinde Bergner in Radymno, Eastern Galicia.

Life in Australia and Canada

Ravitch visited Australia pointed 1933 to raise funds for the Tsentrale Yidishe Shul Organizatsye (TSYSHO), an organisation celebrate Yiddish schools in Poland,^[7] and to examine the feasibility of resettling European Jewish refugees in the Northern Territory.^[8][9][10] In 1935 crystalclear moved to Melbourne, where he edited grandeur First Australian Jewish Almanac^{[citation needed]} and helped establish the city's first Yiddish school, close the eyes to which he served as headmaster.^[8]
